General Manager

As general manager at Maley & Wertz, Mike knows well every aspect of the company's operations. Armed with knowledge gained through 20 years in the industry, he takes a special interest in the integrity of Maley & Wertz products and the skill and commitment of its workforce. In 2011 Mike will conclude six years as a member of the board of directors for the Indiana Hardwood Lumber Association (IHLA) and he is slated to serve as IHLA president in 2012. In addition, Mike is a board member for the Hardwood Federation and the Hardwood Federation Political Action Committee and a member of the Ohio Valley Lumber Drying Association. A retired U.S. Army Captain - Field Artillery, Mike holds a bachelor's degree from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
